The Koelnmesse offers architects and visitors interested in the art of construction a choice of bilingual architectural tours held in German and English. Besides tours introducing highlights of 2000 years of architecture in Cologne from the Romans to Renzo Pinao or to the architecture of reconstruction in the 1950s there will also be evening tours on architecture and lighting design as well as a gallery visiting tour. At the Cologne’s dinner tour, food will play a similar important role as architecture. Furthermore, the program lists tours to the neighborhood of Cologne visiting, for example, the Chapel by Peter Zumthor or the spectacular museum island of Hombroich.
